 (COVID-19)

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).[10] It was first identified in December 2019 in WuhanChina, and has resulted in an ongoing pandemic.[11][12] The first confirmed case has been traced back to 17 November 2019.[13] Traces of the virus have been found in December-2019 wastewater that was collected from Milan and Turin.[14] As of 22 June 2020, more than 8.98 million cases have been reported across 188 countries and territories, resulting in more than 468,000 deaths. More than 4.45 million people have recovered .

Primary prevention:  routine immunization programmes are established in some form in all countries, and in most cases are well developed and effective. However, arrangements for delivery of vaccine programmes are under-developed in some countries, especially for minority populations. Some Commonwealth of Independent States have seen an increase in vaccine preventable diseases following the breakdown of services available in the Soviet era

• Stop smoking.

• Eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

• Exercise regularly.

• Maintain a healthy weight.

• Limit alcohol drinking.

• Get enough sleep.

• Wash hands frequently and cook meat well.

• Try to reduce stress and stress.

Wash hands regularly

Why? Cleaning your hands with soap and water or rubbing them with an alcohol disinfectant will kill the viruses that may be on your hands.

Ensure respiratory hygiene practices

Be sure to cover the mouth and nose by bending the elbow or a tissue with coughing or sneezing, then dispose of the tissue immediately by throwing it in a closed waste bin and clean your hands with an alcohol cleanser or with soap and water.

Why? Covering your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing prevents germs and viruses from spreading. If you cover your mouth and nose with your hand while sneezing and coughing, germs may be transferred to all things and people you touch.

Secondary prevention: routine screening for major forms of cancer now exists in many countries, but not in all of them. Screening programmes are not always evidence-based and systemic health checks for noncommunicable diseases are not routine in most countries.

It is kept in hospital isolation rooms to prevent the transmission of infection

The patient's temperature is monitored 24 hours a day, measured every 8 hours, chest x-rays and necessary tests are performed, and protective clothing is worn immediately if the patient is confirmed to be infected with the Corona virus.

A double sample is taken from the patient's mouth and nose to detect any type of virus, whether influenza or cold, and not just Covid-19 analysis.

If the result of the patient’s sample is negative and he has some moderate respiratory pathology, his treatment will be completed inside the hospital, confirming that if the result of the patient’s analysis was positive for Corona virus, the patient will be transferred immediately to an isolation hospital

The names of the medications that may be granted to a new coronavirus patient during the period of home isolation are represented by: “Hydroxychlorine 200 mg with 12 tablets, oseltavir 75 mg with 10 tablets, Paracetamol 500 mg with 10 tablets, hand gel, mercury thermometer, and five surgical masks”.

Tertiary prevention: lack of availability and affordability of treatment for early stage cancers is a limiting factor in some countries. Staff need training in evidence-based treatment and management approaches for noncommunicable diseases, and modern equipment .

- The patient should be placed in a well-ventilated room after being sterilized and thoroughly cleaned.

- Only one person should take care of the patient and provide him with food, drink and medicine.

- The person providing medical care at home must prepare food for the patient and when connected to him he must wear a medical mask and insulating gloves, and he must hurry to leave the room.

- After leaving the room of the person suspected of infection, hands should be washed thoroughly and refrain from touching the face.

- The rest of the house should avoid touching the face, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water for 20 seconds, and take care of personal hygiene .

Doctors and experts in virology and international reports stressed the necessity of the commitment of the patient recovering from the Corona virus (Covid 19) after his discharge from the hospital and his complete recovery in the home stone for 14 days, and observing himself in the event of any symptoms of the virus, such as high temperature, dry cough and shortness of breath And any other symptoms.

In the forefront of which is to maintain good hand-washing before touching the face, nose and eyes, and not to mix with anything but necessity until we all contribute to limiting the spread of the epidemic.
